A MAN was arrested on suspicion of burglary after police received a report of 'intruders' at a Tyne Valley school.
Shortly before 2.25pm on Friday, April 16, it was reported that two males had been acting suspiciously outside Prudhoe West Academy, before one scaled the fence and entered the school grounds. The other then made off from the scene.
Today (Monday), a Northumbria Police spokeswoman said: "Officers attended and carried out a number of inquiries and a 42-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of burglary but has since been released without further action and inquiries remain ongoing."
