A WOMAN has been attacked after a verbal disagreement.
At 1.15pm today (Friday), police received a report of an alleged assault at the Spar service station, Main Road, Stocksfield.
It was reported a man and women had attacked a female victim after a verbal disagreement.
A Northumbria Police spokesman said: "Officers attended and all parties were separated.
"Nobody was seriously injured and inquiries are ongoing into the nature of the disorder."
