A NEW born lamb shocked its farmers when it tipped the scales at a whopping 8kg.
Amy Louise Little was gobsmacked when she helped deliver a tup on her boyfriend Jonny Archer’s farm at White Hill, Spartylea, near Allendale.
Amy said: “I lambed it and Jonny asked what was taking me so long!
“I knew then it was going to be a big lamb when I had felt its legs.
“We then weighed it being 8kg.
“And within minutes of lambing, it was up sucking from its mother.”
