A MAN will stand trial at crown court after denying trespassing at a property with the intent of causing unlawful damage.

At South East Northumberland Magistrates' Court on March 15, Archie Dean Henderson (29), of Redesmouth Court, Bellingham, denied the charge.

It is alleged he trespassed at a house in Mickley on March 14 of this year with intent to cause damage.

Henderson is also accused of causing damage estimated at a cost of £1,000 by destroying a TV, electric fire, shelving unit and two lampshades belonging to a woman living in Mickley.

He will stand trial at Newcastle Crown Court on April 12.
