A MAN has denied assaulting a woman on Christmas Day.
At South East Northumberland Magistrates Court on March 11, Rory Davies (49), of Castlerigg Drive, Morton, Carlisle, denied assaulting the woman in Gilsland last Christmas.
He will stand trial at Newcastle Magistrates' Court on July 6.
