Road closed due to overturned lorry
AN overturned lorry carrying wood has closed parts of the A69.
Northumbria Police said this morning (Thursday) it was dealing with an incident involving a HGV on the A69 westbound (between Hexham Bridge End Roundabout and Stagshaw Roundabout, Corbridge).
Both carriageways are closed and traffic is building. Drivers are asked to avoid the area.
A local diversion is in place and disruption is expected to last into the afternoon.
