Power cuts affecting 120 properties in Northumberland
Over 120 properties in our region are without power this morning according to the Northern Power Grid.
Houses in the Prudhoe area with a NE40, NE41 and NE42 postcode have been left without power since approximately 7:00am this morning, with the repair not expected to be complete until at least 10:30am.
Northern Power Grid have said the fault has been caused ‘by an unexpected problem with the cables or equipment that serve the area’ and are hoping to resolve the issues as quickly as possible.
A second problem was also detected, with between zero and ten properties affected in the NE42 postcode region, with that problem not expected to be fixed until 11:00am.
