26 new coronavirus cases were recorded in Northumberland yesterday (February 28).
The total number of positive cases of Covid-19 in the county since the start of the pandemic is now 16,482, according to Public Health England data.
Meanwhile, no further coronavirus-related deaths have been confirmed at Northumbria Healthcare hospitals.
NHS England figures show the death toll remains at 677.
Northumberland County Council Covid-19 data, including the figures by ward, had not been updated at the time of writing.
Yesterday, the government announced more than 20 million people in the UK had received their first coronavirus vaccine dose.
