A POPULAR catering firm which has gained high profile clients is applying for a licence to sell alcohol.
Duck House Pantry Catering, based at Holly Brook, Hindley Farm, Stocksfield, has earned a huge reputation locally, and nationally, and even provided catering to famous duo, the Hairy Bikers.
To help build on its reputation, owner Jack Lapping has submitted an application to Northumberland County Council's licensing department.
The firm wants to provide alcohol sales online and from its business premises, including alcohol in its hamper baskets, as well as as part of its events and private functions business.
The application is for alcohol trading to take place between 9am and 11pm on Monday to Saturday, and between 10am and 11pm on Sundays.
The closing date for representations to be made to the county council on the application is March 8.
