POLICE have issued a plea to the public after an attempted burglary in a Tyne Valley town.
Yesterday (Thursday), the force received a report of an attempted burglary at Run Unlimited, on Marquis Court, in Prudhoe.
A Northumbria Police spokesman said: "The shop was targeted sometime between 10pm on Wednesday and 12pm the next day.
"No entry was gained and nothing was taken from the premises."
Inquiries are ongoing and anyone with information should contact police on 101, quoting log 439 040221.
