HEXHAM’S high school has a rich history with the sport of rugby.

Queen Elizabeth High School has produced many top rugby players, particularly for local club Tynedale over the years, and the sport is equally as popular as football at the school.

Numerous honours have been earned by the Tyne Valley school over the years, with many of the pupils going on to gain individual honours too.

We take a look back at a snapshot of some of the school’s rugby players over over the recent years, illustrating the highs and enjoyment experienced at the school.
