A MAN has been fined for having cannabis in his possession.
At North Tyneside Magistrates’ Court last Friday, James Daniel Barton (47), of Farpasture Cottage, Ninebanks, admitted possessing the class B drug.
The court heard Barton had a quantity of cannabis on him while in Allendale on March 6.
He was fined £100 and ordered to pay court costs of £85 and a victim surcharge of £34. The drugs were ordered to be destroyed.
