A MAN has been fined £660 for failing to identify the driver of a vehicle alleged to have been involved in an offence.
David George Walton (52), of Redwell Road, Prudhoe, was required by Northumbria Police to identify the driver alleged to have committed an offence on July 18, 2018.
The case was proved in Walton's absence last year and, at Newcastle Magistrates' Court on Saturday, he was banned from driving for six months.
In addition to his fine, he was also ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £66 and court costs of £85.
