A TYNEDALE woman has denied assaulting a police officer.
At South East Northumberland Magistrates' Court last Wednesday, Robyn Palmer (33), of Bradley Road, Prudhoe, denied assaulting an emergency worker on January 18 of this year.
It is alleged Palmer assaulting a police officer at a property on Radha Court, in Blyth.
She will appear at Newcastle Crown Court on February 17 for the trial.
A co-accused, John Lewis Storey (31), of Radha Court, Blyth, was sentenced to 16 weeks in prison after admitting assaulting two police officers in the same incident.
The court heard Storey bit one officer and kicked the other, causing injuries to both.
In addition to the prison sentence, he was also ordered to pay compensation of £250 to one victim and £75 to the other.
