A LOCAL authority is due to ask for a court order demanding that 750 people pay their council tax.
A case brought by South Lakeland District Council is due to be heard at South Cumbria Magistrates' Court next week.
The council is asking for liability orders, legal demands for payment, to be issued.
The same is being asked for 66 business that have not paid non-domestic rates to the council as required.
The hearing will take place on Monday.
