Court sentences woman who assaulted man
A woman has been fined £120 for assaulting a man.
Valerie Ann Mills, 56, of Tricketts Drive in Grange, admitted that she beat Philip Mills in the town on November 22.
At South Cumbria Magistrates' Court in Barrow she was told to complete a 15-day rehabilitation activity requirement and pay a victim surcharge of £95 and costs of £85 on top of the fine.
