A FURTHER 13 coronavirus deaths have been confirmed at Northumbria Healthcare hospitals.
NHS England figures show the death toll at the trust's hospitals now stands at 506.
It comes as a further 107 new, positive cases of Covid-19 were recorded in the county yesterday (Tuesday) - taking the total since the start of the pandemic, in March, to 13,819 according to Public Health England.
The Tyne Valley remains the worst -affected area in Northumberland.
Northumberland County Council data up to January 17, shows 818 cases of the virus were reported from January 11 to 17, with an infection rate of 255.4 per 100,000 residents.
