CHILDREN who are learning IT skills at home can get a helping hand thanks to Barrow Library.
Barrow Library and Archives have announced a new Micro:bit Lending Library scheme.
Children can borrow a BBC Micro:bit, a pocket-sized codeable computer, for two weeks to learn basic coding skills.
The Micro:bit will be provided along with a set of instructions of how to learn code, with more tutorials available on the BBC Micro:bit website.
To borrow a Micro:bit call: 01229 407373 or email: barrow.library@cumbria.gov.uk between 10am and 1pm Monday to Friday to arrange collection.
