A CHARITY has thanked its selfless supporters for making generous donations.
Bay Hospitals Charity works to support the care of local people by funding additional equipment, medical research, specialist training and enhancing the hospital environment at the University Hospitals of Morecambe Bay NHS Foundation Trust.
A spokesperson for Bays Hospital Charity said: “Working for Bay Hospitals Charity is such a privilege as every day we get to meet such wonderful people and see the generous donations that come in on a daily basis.
“On Friday we received £128.50 from a lovely lady who sold Christmas face masks for the benefit of the Oncology Unit, Furness General Hospital.
“Another donation was from a lady who donated £1,250 in gratitude for a successful operation and as a thank you for great care received.
“The next donation was sadly made in memory for £1,000 but it is such a lovely testament to a life well lived. We are so grateful to our wonderful supporters. Your donations allow us to make a difference every day in our hospitals and community. We are forever thankful for your support.”
