A LOCAL coffee chain has opened its newest outlet at a Tyne Valley retail park.
Popular Caffè Ginevra, which has a branch on Prudhoe's Front Street, opened its doors to takeaway customers for the first time on Monday, at Tyneview Retail Park, in Low Prudhoe.
It joins B&M Bargains, which opened in November, and follows news that Aldi will open January 14.
To mark the occasion, owners Anthony and Amy Finn had their young daughters Poppy (4) and Maisie (7) cut the ribbon, officially declaring the new premise open for business.
The cafe boasts an ample seating area, which although currently closed due to government Covid-19 restrictions, looks forward to welcoming regulars and new customers alike.
Many other local businesses helped to transform the unit.
