ACCESS to the Tyne Valley's newest retail park will be made easier from this week.

Go North East has announced it has extended its Tyne Valley Ten service 10B to serve the Tyneview Retail Park, in Prudhoe.

Starting on January 2, the extension will help improve the access to the new shops and facilities for the residents of Prudhoe, Crawcrook and Ryton.

Some of the first businesses to open at the retail park include B&M, Greggs, Caffé Ginevra and Aldi, with others set to follow soon.

As part of the improvements this week, Go North East will also be making some other changes to Tyne Valley Ten.

Stephen King, commercial director at Go North East, said: “We’re pleased to be extending our services to serve this new retail park.

“It will make things a whole lot easier for the residents of Prudhoe, Crawcrook and Ryton.”

The Tyneview Retail Park, at Low Prudhoe, has proved a big hit with customers since it opened a matter of weeks ago, and it is expected to be lot busier once more units open in the coming weeks.
