A VAN with the slogan 'got symptoms? get tested' has been driving around Tyne Valley towns.
The van was seen in Hexham and Haydon Bridge over the weekend and on Wednesday, Northumberland County Council confirmed "the van is one of a number of tools we're using in the area to raise awareness of the outbreak and remind people to get tested if they've got symptoms."
A council spokesperson added: "We've already got posters up in shops and businesses, and this is another way of getting our messages across."
It comes as the number of cases in the south west of the county and Hexham continue to be high and the Covid-19 death toll continues to increase.
