MORE than 50 local people have been hired by B&M after its new store officially opened in Prudhoe.
The shop, on Tyneview Retail Park, will allow locals to experience the variety retailer’s selection of branded and own label products, with everything from toys and homewares to groceries and pet essentials.
Store staff were delighted to welcome Wellburn Residential Care Home as their VIP, who were invited to cut the ribbon on opening day.
Wellburn House Residential Care Home is a private home, in Ovingham, which supports residents living with dementia.
In addition to opening the store, the team also received £250 worth of B&M vouchers to go towards giving residents the best Christmas possible during these uncertain times.
