SIGNS for a major fast food outlet have today gone up at a new retail park.
McDonald's confirmed it was coming to Tyneview Retail Park, in Prudhoe, in November after it agreed terms with the developer.
It followed initial discussions in March that had spanned several months.
And on Wednesday, the chain's famous golden arches were seen going up over the Tyne Valley.
B&M Bargains was the first retailer to open on the site in November and will be joined by Aldi, Caffe Ginevra and Greggs in the new year.
The fast food giant is also eyeing-up a move to Hexham, which would see two restaurants for the district after years of travel to Consett or Blaydon.
