A PONTELAND pony recognised as one of the best nationally has now been presented with his rosette and sash.
Baz, who is loaned by the Errington family, of Ogle, to the Morpeth Group Riding for the Disabled (RDA) finished fifth in the RDA Horse/Pony category of the first, virtual SEIB Search for a Star competition.
Now, Morpeth RDA chairman Michelle Macaulay has heaped praise on the 12-year-old black gelding.
She said: "Baz is the complete package, the perfect RDA pony - patient, intelligent, adaptable and fun. He is very special."
Morpeth RDA is a charity-led organisation dedicated to improving the lives of children and adults with both developmental and physical disabilities.
Baz joined the team in July 2017, and has since given hours of enjoyment to riders.
