ANOTHER crash has occurred at the site of a major road upgrade.
A car and a lorry were involved in a collision on the A69 Eastbound at Bridge End roundabout near Hexham this morning.
A spokesman for Northumbria Police said nobody was injured in the crash, which happened at 7:15am, and traffic was not badly affected.
The new road layout at the roundabout, which is in place while work to create continuous dual carriageway is underway, has been criticised by many in the town - although it has been some weeks since an accident was reported there.
