An alleged stalker will stand trial after pleading not guilty to a charge of harassment in a Tynedale town.
John Lambert, 55, of Priestpopple, is accused of pursuing and stalking his victim, which led to harassment, on November 21.
South East Northumberland Magistrates’ Court heard he pleaded not guilty to the offence on Monday.
The case was adjourned and Lambert was remanded on conditional bail until April 27, 2021, when he will appear at North Tyneside Magistrates’ Court.
