A man has been handed a £400 fine after pleading guilty to harassment.
On Thursday, South East Northumberland Magistrates’ Court heard how Stefan Schollick 39, of West Road, Haltwhistle, sent numerous abusive messages to his victim.
The court heard Schollick harassed his victim between April 30 and May 3.
He was fined £400 and ordered to pay £80 costs and a £40 victim surcharge.
