North Tyneside Magistrates' Court
A man accused of assault and harassment is due to stand trial.
John Lambert, 55, of Priestpopple, Hexham, is alleged to have assaulted his victim in Carlisle.
North Tyneside Magistrates’ Court heard how Lambert is also accused of harassment through repeated telephone calls on September 2. He denied both charges.
He will appear at South Tyneside Magistrates’ Court on November 20 for the trial.
