AN investigation has been launched after the alleged theft of a motorcycle in a Tyne Valley town over the weekend.
Police received a report on Saturday, November 14 that a motorcycle had been taken from St Paul's Road, in Hexham, at around 8pm.
A Northumbria Police spokesman confirmed on Monday that "inquiries are ongoing to trace those responsible, and anyone with information is asked to contact police via the 'Tell Us Something page' or by calling 101, quoting log 61 151120."
