A DRIVER was taken to hospital over the weekend after a crash in the North Tyne.
Just after 9.15am on Saturday, police received a report of a one-vehicle road traffic collision on the B6320, just north of Chollerford.
A Northumbria Police spokesperson confirmed on Monday that the driver of the car suffered a minor injury and was taken to hospital by a friend.
