SATURDAY marked a big occasion for one Tyne Valley footballer.
For Michael Robson's appearance against Gosforth Bohemians in the Northern Alliance was his 300th for Hexham FC's senior team.
Robson came through the junior ranks at the club after signing up ahead of his team playing in the Tynedale Mini-Soccer League, and he has remained a loyal servant throughout the age categories.
His family has played a huge role in the club over the years, with his father Doug the former chairman and brother Scott also a vital player over the years.
Michael made his senior debut for Hexham in the 2007-2008 season and was delighted to make it to his triple century 13 seasons later.
The defender contributed to Hexham's 4-1 victory over Gosforth at the weekend, the victory pushing the green and whites up to fifth in the Division One table, four points off third place.
