A POPULAR hospitality venue in Tynedale has been accused of failing to make hygiene improvements.
Greedy Sheep Inns Ltd, representing the Cheviot Hotel, in Bellingham, is accused by Northumberland County Council of two counts of failing to comply with a hygiene improvement notice.
It is alleged that, on December 20 2018, the hotel failed to put in place and implement documented procedure based on the Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point principles and also failed to renew or repair wall coverings so that they were non-absorbent and washable.
The case was adjourned to South East Northumberland Magistrates' Court on October 26.
