A TYNEDALE man has been warned he may face prison for having a lock knife in his car.
James Nathan George Anderson (32), of New Ridley Road, in Stocksfield, pleaded guilty at South East Northumberland Magistrates' Court last Thursday to possessing a bladed article in a public place.
The court heard Anderson had the lock knife in the footwell of his car while driving on the A695 near Mickley on June 13.
Anderson also pleaded guilty to being nearly four times above the legal drink drive limit as he had 120 microgrammes of alcohol in 100ml of breath. The legal limit is 35mg.
He will be sentenced for the offences on October 21.
