A MISSING Tyne Valley man was found safe and well by police officers on Thursday.
William Tailford, known locally as Tony, had been missing from his home in Prudhoe since Wednesday morning.
The 62-year-old was last seen by his family at around 7am at an address on St Oswalds Court.
Police appealed to the public for their help in their search as concern grew for his welfare.
