POLICE are appealing for information after a two-vehicle crash on Sunday.

A Northumbria Police spokesman said officers were called to an incident on New Ridley Road, Stocksfield, at around 1.30am.

“Officers attended the scene and thankfully nobody was injured," the spokesman added.

"One of the vehicles involved had already left the scene and inquiries are ongoing to trace the occupants.

“The driver, or anyone with information, is asked to contact police via the ‘Tell Us Something’ page of our website or by calling 101 quoting log 72 270920.”
