A MAN has been arrested in a Tynedale town.
A male was located by Prudhoe neighbourhood team and arrested after a series of incidents reported to police in Ponteland on Tuesday.
He was then charged with two counts of shoplifting and one count of criminal damage and was remanded for court and given a seven-week custodial sentence.
