A MOTORIST has been banned from driving after he was found driving under the influence of cocaine.

Samuel Lambert (21), of Main Road, Stocksfield, pleaded guilty to the offence at North Tyneside Magistrates’ Court last Wednesday.

The court heard Lambert was stopped on March 22 and a blood test found cocaine in his system.

He was banned from driving for 12 months, fined £515 and ordered to pay costs of £137.
