THREE people have been hospitalised after a crash on the A69.
A spokesman for Northumbria Police said three vehicles were involved in an accident two miles west of Haydon Bridge near Home Bank.
A spokeswoman for the North East Ambulance Service said: "We were called at 16:23 to reports of a multi-vehicle road traffic collision on the A69 at Haydon Bridge.
"We dispatched four ambulances, four hazardous area response teams, and an officer.
"We have taken three people to hospitals."
Police are managing traffic, but it is very slow-moving. Recovery for the three vehicles has been arranged.
