ELDERLY folk in Prudhoe have been treated to some activity packs courtesy of a local charity.
Age UK Northumberland donated the packs which were then distributed by the town's mayor, Coun. Tracy Gilmore, and Gordon Stewart, who represents Prudhoe South on Northumberland County Council. Coun. Gilmore said: "The care homes are struggling with not being able to have visitors and the residents feel a bit forgotten. We wanted to let them know we're still thinking about them and they're not forgotten."
The packs were delivered to The Manors, Red Brick, Haven Dene, and Rose Tree care homes.
