A WARRANT for the arrest of a man accused of carrying a knife in public place has been issued after he failed to show at court.
Daniel Brian Boag (29), of John Martin Street, Haydon Bridge, was due to appear at North Tyneside Magistrates' Court on Monday to answer the charge of possessing the knife blade but he did not attend.
It is alleged that he had a kitchen knife in his possession on his street on Saturday, June 27.
