A HEXHAM man accused of two counts of criminal damage will appear in court next week.

Adam Featherstone (29) of Maidens Walk, is accused of damaging two glass windows of Naylors estate agents in Newcastle worth £1800, and attempted to damage two glass windows of Poundland, also in Newcastle, worth £500.

The charges relate to incidents on April 9.

His case was due to be heard on Tuesday at North Tyneside Magistrates Court, but the case was adjourned in order for him to attend.

Featherstone will now appear at North Tyneside on August 12 to enter a plea. He was remanded on unconditional bail until that date.
