Coronavirus latest.
THERE has been two new lab-confirmed cases of coronavirus recorded in the county.
Latest figures from Public Health England show 1,595 cases of Covid-19 across the county - an increase of two since yesterday (Wednesday, August 5).
Meanwhile, data from NHS England confirmed no new coronavirus related deaths at Northumbria NHS Trust hospitals.
The death toll remains at 202 - a figure which has not changed since July 3.
