DETECTIVES investigating the death of a 26-year-old man have made two further arrests as part of the ongoing investigation.
The body of Carlisle man Lee McKnight was discovered at just before 5.30am on Friday, July 24, in the River Caldew, in the Blackwell Hall area just outside Carlisle.
On Wednesday, officers executed an arrest warrant at two addresses in the Blackwell Road and Howe Street area of Carlisle.
A 25-year-old man and a 17-year-old boy from Carlisle have both been arrested on suspicion of murder and remain in police custody.
