Power cut affects 143 homes in the district
ELECTRICAL distributor Northern Powergrid has apologied for a power cut in the district.
The company said 143 homes were affected by the outage, over a four-and-a-half hour period over the weekend.
A fault to high voltage equipment affected properties in Ninebanks, Carrshield, and surrounding areas, between 6.13am and 10.47am on Saturday, according to Northern Powergrid.
A spokeswoman said: "We apologise for any inconvenience and we addressed the issue as quickly as possible."
