A MAN was given a 12-month conditional discharge for causing fear by using threatening behaviour.
Joseph Main (30), of Dale View Terrace, Stocksfield, pleaded guilty at South East Northumberland Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday to the charge, relating to an incident on Oak Tree Terrace, in Prudhoe, on May 10. He was ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £22 and court costs of £85.
A separate charge of possessing a blade in a public place was discontinued, although the court issued the forfeiture and destruction of a Swiss army knife.
