A MOTORIST has been banned from driving for six months after crashing into a give way sign and fleeing the scene.
Alexander Pyle (25), of Wydon Park, Hexham, pleaded guilty at South East Northumberland Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday to leaving the scene of an accident, driving without due care and attention and leaving his vehicle in a dangerous position. The incident occurred on Hexham Road junction with the A69 in Wylam on November 16.
Pyle was fined £120 and ordered to pay costs of £32 victim surcharge and £85 court costs.
