A MAN is due to stand trial after pleading not guilty to using threatening words or behaviour with intent to cause unlawful violence.
Andrew Watson (48) of Woodhead Road, Prudhoe, has been remanded in custody following a hearing last Thursday at North Tyneside Magistrates' Court.
He is accused of using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour with intent to cause fear of or provoke violence on May 4 in Prudhoe.
He will appear at South East Northumberland Magistrates' Court on August 7.
