CONCERNS are growing for the safety of a sheep pictured running loose in a Tyne Valley town on Sunday morning.
A photo of the animal, on the main road near to Hexham railway station, was posted on social media.
Members of the public have attempted to raise awareness of the situation to the farming community, in the hope it will be safely returned to its natural surroundings.
