AN Ovingham man is set to be sentenced later this month after pleading guilty to three counts of assault.
Ben Derek Shields (30) of Bewick Lane, Ovingham, appeared at South East Northumberland Magistrates Court on Wednesday, July 15.
He had earlier pleaded guilty to three counts of assault by beating.
The charges related to an incident on May 30.
The case was adjourned in order for a report to be completed.
Shields will be sentenced on Wednesday, July 29 at South East Northumberland Magistrates.
He had initially been due to appear in court on July 2, but failed to do so. He subsequently appeared on Saturday, July 11 and pleaded guilty.
